A couple of things for you to consider:
1. The Prius is supposed to be a better implementation of a hybrid
2. The 2005 model year will have something like a dozen[1] new hybrid
vehicles, in case you wind up waiting more than about a month.
3. Per a suggestion from Don Marti, a quick check of www.toyota.com
and www.honda.com shows Toyota using Apache on Linux, while Honda
runs IIS on Windows 2000. Are you going to trust an auto
manufacturer that runs IIS?
Footnote:
[1] Not really a dozen. I'm pulling numbers out of my proverbial
ass, here. Some of the 2005 hybrids have started quietly
showing up at dealerships, though. Ford Escape is one, if
you're an SUV weenie.
