[Dasbanter] Who Needs Checks and Balances?

Note this is in the House, all of whose members run for re-election every 
two years. Also note that these are mostly inexperienced, low-grade House 
Republicans, who won't have much else to bring back to their constituency 
come re-election time. No Dennis Hasterts, no Dana Rohrabachers, no Bob 
Aderholts. This kind of crap happens all the time, just to get new 
Congressmen some re-election clout, and will not make it through conference 
or the Senate, in the unlikely event it ever gets out of House committee. 
What we should really be concerned about is the 85% of legislation that 
makes it through Congress without objection, which there is no reason for 
the press to report, because there is no story where there is no conflict. 
Also, boobies.
