Hot dogs & hamburgers - dinner is on us!

We will be cookin' for you on Wednesday, July 13, at the State of Nevada 
Employee's Association (709 E Robinson, Carson City) beginning at 6:30 PM.

Please join area volunteers for a barbeque as we prepare letters to be 
sent to our elected officials and local papers expressing our concerns 
over the USA PATRIOT Act and related anti-terrorism legislation.

Our legislators in Washington have set August as the target for deciding 
the fate of the expiring portions of the USA PATRIOT Act and the 
possible expansion of federal surveillance power under other provisions. 
Therefore, we all must act quickly and decisively if we hope to affect 
their decision.

Please join us on July 13th for a BBQ and letter writing campaign.

We cannot do this alone - we need your help! We will have sample as well 
as completed letters on hand so you can either write your own or choose 
one you like. Computers, printers, envelopes, and stamps will also be 
available.

Bring salads, chips, or sodas if you like (we are providing the dogs and 
burgers), but most importantly bring yourself and your friends!

See you on the 13th!
