Hi all -

This is a must listen! And you won't sleep well tonight after you do,
I'm sorry to report.

Former marine and chief UN weapons inspector, Scott Ritter, spoke to
capacity crowd in Amherst, MA on November 17, 2005, for the Traprock
Peace Center - wow - peace movement - Americans - wake up and pay attention!

I captured this quote of Ritter's from a 2002 NPR interview:
"We have to remember why there aren't inspectors in Iraq today and it is
not because Iraq kicked them out, it is because the United States
ordered them out before they began bombing Iraq in 1998 using
intelligence gathered by inspectors to target Saddam."
--Scott Ritter former UN weapons inspector, 2002

Audio, transcript, and photos of the 11/2005 talk are at:

PS: Jump to the eight minute mark if you wish to bypass the
introduction. Which, interestingly enough, only three members of the
press apparently attended. One was community access TV, another was a
writer for a high school paper, and some fellow named Dave. Pathetic,
given the message Ritter delivers. But then he explains the reason for
that as well.
