Dear friends and Greens and Green voters.

I think the campaign was a sucess. We got 6,731 votes, which is more
than the number of registered Greens in Nevada.

As many of you know, I tried to help support Titus in the final days. It
was a gamble, but I thought we had the 1% solidly, and wanted to help
keep Gibbons out of office. She came close to beating him, and if not
for the 20,000 or so people who voted None of the Above, she might have
won.

And, at least then we would have someone receptive to Green ideals in
office.

Why would 20K people vote none of the above, with a candidate to the far
right (Hansen) and one to the far left (me)?

Not enough choices??? What a waste of humanity and a waste of air.

Thank you all for your encouragement and your support.

Especial thanks to David Curtis, Paul Etxeberri, and Craig Ayres-Sevier,
who were the major funders for this excursion.

YOU good folks got us ballot access!

Thanks to Jason for being my conscience, and for talking to me at some
very important times.

Also to Charles I, and Charles L. and all others who were motivators for
me. Thanks to all those out of state who were supportive.

Thanks to all the volunteers from High schools and others who hustled
literature out into the real world, and to Bean and Harold for their
computer expertise.

And thanks to DJ for her early and long lasting encouragement and ideas.
Thanks to the Tahoe Greens, let's get together soon.

Now that we have ballot access, are you ready to run? I learned that it
takes 2 years to mount a good campaign. Let's start, think about it,
I'll help.

And let's build our wonderful Green Party of Nevada.

There are over 3,000 who voted who are not yet registered Greens.

And, how many more can we pick up in the next 2 years?

Now that it's over, we find that it is not over. It is time to start
working.

You folks were wonderful. It was an incredible experience. I doubt I'll
want to do this again, but we did pick up some tools from all this, and
now perhaps we can use them.

NNEMA.org should be up in a week or two.

Is anyone in N. Nevada able to take on Washoe Green website work?

Can anyone in Las Vegas help with updating? We can use my cell number on
the state site as a contact for Washoe county (775.376.3570). Paul X's
post office box is still good for mail.

Is anyone up to writing a Green letter to editor once a month or so? And
getting others to do the same?

What other kinds of activities can we get started on?

Let's rest a day or two, and then brainstorm.

I love you all,

Yours in Peace,

Craig Bergland
