>        Reading, PA has been chosen to host the Green Party of the United States Annual National Meeting, July 12-15, 2007.  Details about the meeting in Reading are available at http://www.gpanc.org/    Pre-registration for the meeting is available now and the Annual National Meeting Committee encourages not only delegates from state Green Parties, but all Greens who plan on attending to pre-register now.   

Registration fees cover the administrative costs associated with hosting
the meeting and the costs of providing events (e.g. speakers,
entertainment, etc). Pre-registration helps the committee plan for the
meeting more effectively and allows the committee to plan a better
overall meeting. The registration fee starting in April will be
somewhere around $90 or $100 per person, but you can save $15-25 by
pre-registering now: The pre-registration fee is $75 through March 31. 
 

States wishing to pre-register their National Delegates, individual
Delegates, and other individuals who plan to attend the Meeting in
Reading can pre-register either via the webpage

Or by mailing a check made out to the Green Party of the United States
with the words Pre-Reg 2007 ANM written in the memo field, and
mailing it to:

Pre-registrations are transferable but non-refundable.     

If the money is being sent by a state party, the state party is asked to
please send the list of delegates/attendees to office at gp.org with the
subject line "Pre-Reg 4 Meeting". If the people change, the
registration is transferable.   

You can also call the GP national office 1-866-41-Green (toll free),
with any questions or to register by phone.   

Lodging reservations are separate from meeting registration and should
be made directly with the lodging provider. There is a list of
available lodging here http://www.gpanc.org/feet.html that includes
campgrounds, B&Bs, hotels and motels.    

The meetings will be hosted at the Abraham Lincoln Wyndham, 100 N 5th
St, Reading, PA  19601, 610-372-3700

discounted block of rooms for ANM attendees: Rooms with 2 double beds,
1 King, or 1 Queen for $108; Suites with 1/2 wall separating the
bedroom (King or Queen) area from the living area and a pull out sofa
coach for $129.   

The ANM Committee is still finalizing details of the various meal plan
possibilities, and various other details (e.g. event schedule, etc).   
 

A complete registration webpage will be available before April, but it
would be most helpful for the ANMC if many people could pre-register
before then.
