Hello Green Party,
This email is in response to Ms. Ewing's 8/2/05 email.  Thank you for providing us with your updated list of officers.  However, the statute (NRS 293.171(3)) requires an Amended Certificate of Existence to be filed after any change in the information contained in your last Certificate filed.  There is not a prescribed form for this certificate, though it must contain the information set forth within NRS 293.171.

I am also in receipt of the Green Party's amended bylaws and the Notice of Continued Existence.  Please be advised that this Notice is only required to be filed by those minor parties whose candidates did not appear in the last General Election.  Because the Green Party did have candidates in the 2004 General, the Notice of Continued Existence is not necessary for the Green Party to file.  

Accordingly, the Green Party's file will be complete upon receipt of the Amended Certificate of Existence reflecting any changes since the last Certificate filed.

I have file stamped your amended bylaws (current as of 7/17/05) for August 1st, 2005 and will send a file-stamped copy to you for your party's records.  We will also be scanning this document for placement on our website.
