ALERT! ALERT! ALERT!

Anti-Patriot Act resolution is on the Sparks City Council agenda for
Monday, August 22 at 3:00 PM!

Even IF YOU LIVE IN RENO or elsewhere you may call the Sparks City
Council and request passage of this resolution! What Sparks decides will
affect our chances of success in Reno, Washoe County, Carson City, and
even Las Vegas -- therefore, your voice needs to be heard in Sparks as
well!

Will the City of Sparks join 400 other jurisdictions and seven entire
states who oppose the USA PATRIOT Act?

~ they can, BUT ONLY IF YOU ACT NOW! ~

WHAT: Sparks City Council to vote on a resolution affirming the Bill of
Rights and opposing the overreaching sections of the PATRIOT Act
WHEN: Monday, August 22, 2005, at 3:00 PM
WHERE: Sparks City Hall, 431 Prater Way (corner of Prater Way & 4th ST)
WEBSITE: ncdpa.org
INFORMATION: 775/786-6757

The Sparks City Council MUST HEAR from YOU!

SIMPLY CALL 775/353-2311. Tell the attendant that you would like to
leave a message for the mayor and the entire Sparks City Council
expressing your support for the resolution affirming the Bill of Rights
and opposing the USA PATRIOT Act. Even if you live in Reno or elsewhere
tell them that you are concerned because what Sparks decides on the 22nd
may affect how your community reacts when presented with an anti-Patriot
Act resolution!

And please attend the August 22nd meeting -- we must pack the room!

Friends -- I can't stress this enough - YOU CANNOT EXPECT SOMEONE ELSE
TO ACT ON YOUR BEHALF - SOMEONE ELSE WILL NOT MAKE YOUR CALL FOR YOU.
You must make the call yourself!

Please - please - please take five minutes and make the call.
Councilmember's in Sparks have made it crystal clear to us that if the
public does not respond the resolution will fail.

Call 775/353-2311 NOW! WE MUST MELT THEIR PHONE SYSTEM WITH CALLS!

Thanks! And see you on the 22nd at Sparks City Hall.

Yours in liberty,
Bob Tregilus
