I just realized that I never received Charles Laws' or Tracy's e-mails
regarding the Aug. 14 meeting minutes. Strange. Did anyone else not
receive these e-mails to their e-mail address?

Charles Laws wrote, "Re: Washoe meeting places.. If open, and space not
reserved, the downtown or northwest Washoe Co. libraries are good.
Commercial sites are expensive, the pizza joint on 4th has a back room,
also the meeting room of PLAN are good sites.. we've used the lobby at
the Nuggett which is good for 6-10 people, a little distracting but
acceptable. Reno folks ought to be able to set this up. Paul J and
Kathy Rusco might be able to do it.. [Hmmm?] Another possibility is
that -if- connections can be made and the Campus Greens are willing
they can [have in the past] host a meeting at the J.T.Student Union.
I've also managed to arrange class rooms, a little more bureaucratic
process tho."

Charles Laws, thanks for the Washoe County meeting room info. Two
questions, one do you know of any meeting spaces that can hold from 20
to 50 people in Washoe County? Two, could you e-mail and/or contact
Kathy or Paul J. as well?

Tracy asks, "i thought the library was a good idea. what happened with
that one?" I don't know. When Barb called me about it, I asked if she
had found out whether or not the library would give us access to a
landline and/or speakerphone that we could use either a calling card or
long distance dialing on. I've been in the room Barb was talking about
and think space-wise, it would be appropriate for what we need. So, I
told Barb that she could go ahead and make the decision based on those
of you she had already spoken with and I would respect her decision,
considering the time restraints with reserving rooms at the library.
But, I haven't heard back from her about the room in the library since
that conversation.

I'll be calling some more places today and updating you all tomorrow.

Jason
