[NV Greens] 8/24 room search update

progress.

The Westin:
Spoke with a representative from The Westin.  They only rent out their
meeting rooms for full days, they do have a room available on Oct. 15,
however it'll be $1500 for the entire day.  It's a little out of our
price range at the moment.  The rep mentioned that we might find less
expensive meeting rooms at the Imperial Palace, so I'll call over there
soon to find out if we can make it work.

Doolittle Community Center:
Maria is looking into this community center and so far it seems like a
potentially great choice.  A room is also available on Oct. 15 from
noon to five.

County Liaison:
I still haven't heard from Mike Shannon, my county liaison, so I'll try
again soon as well.  You all might want to contact your county
liaison's to see if they can be helpful with such a search.  Go to
www.accessclarkcounty.com to find out who your liaison is.

Boulder City:
Charles Imboden is looking into meeting spaces in Boulder City.

Clark County Government Center:
It doesn't look good here.  I keep getting transfered to different
departments and each time they tell me there are either no rooms
available or they don't rent them out to nonprofit groups any longer. 
Oh well, I tried.
