The 109th Congress officially first convened on Tuesday, January
4th, swearing in both newly elected and returning Members of
Congress.  With the start of the 109th Congress, the campaign to
protect Utah's redrock country depends on vocal wilderness
advocates like you throughout the country urging your elected
officials to keep Utah wild by supporting America's Redrock
Wilderness Act.  The legislation remains a mainstay of the effort
to preserve Utah's remarkable landscape.  America's Redrock
Wilderness Act was introduced as H.R.1796 in the House and S.639
in the Senate during the previous 108th Congress, where it
garnered the support of more than 160 Members of the U.S. House
of Representatives, and 16 U.S. Senators.  With your help, the
legislation will be introduced in the coming months of the 109th
Congress with record cosponsorship support.  You can help now by
asking your re-elected and/or new 
Senator(s) and Representative to support America's Redrock
Wilderness Act.
