Hi everyone,
Everything is going well leading up to the state meeting this Sunday,
July 17 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Clark County Library. We've got
backup plans in case the room fills up, we've got backup phones for
teleconferencing with Reno, we've even got a laptop for Internet access
in case we need to look anything up or communicate via online chat.
We sent out a mailing to 1000 registered Greens in Clark County and it
was donated to us by a couple of great people who really see the value
in the Green Party. At a total cost of $545.19, this shows we can
really raise money when we have to and get information out to people
when it's needed! Great job everyone! If you've received yours, let
us know what you think.
For the state meeting on Sunday, prepare yourself to talk about some
amendments to the Green Party of Nevada Bylaws as well as to meet and
vote on the new Executive Council. It's not too late to get involved
and run for an office on the Executive Council, so please post your
personal statement here and we'll see you at the meeting on Sunday. So
far we have candidates for:
Co-Chairs: Tracy Crawford and Jason Halprin
Secretary: Charles Imboden
Treasurer: Barb Ewing
We still have four more positions as at-large members open on the
Executive Council as well. Plus, these are elections, so if you want
to be Co-Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer, enter your name into the race!
This includes those of you in Reno.
Here's another copy of what I have for the Agenda so far:

Thank you for reading and for being involved. We're looking to make
some big changes in Nevada, changes that show our true strength as a
third party.
See you at the meeting,
Jason
