GREEN PARTY OF NEVADA HOLDS STATE MEETING, ELECTS NEW OFFICERS

Las Vegas, NV - The Green Party of Nevada this past Sunday held its
state meeting, electing new officers to the Executive Council, updating
the Party bylaws, and discussing other Green matters.

Open to all registered Green Party members in the state, the Green Party
of Nevada meetings allow Greens to keep up to date on Party policies and
activities at the state level, as well as have direct input in the
direction of their party. Meetings are held no fewer than four times
per year.

Green Party members in Las Vegas communicated via speakerphone to
members in Reno. Clark and Washoe counties account for over 90% of
registered Greens in the state of Nevada.

The new council-persons, elected by consensus, are:

Tracy Crawford - Co-chair
Jason Halprin - Co-chair
Charles Imboden - Secretary
Barbara Ewing - Treasurer
Kimberly French - At-Large Member
Bob Giaquinta - At-Large Member
Lauren Prather - At-Large Member

The Green Party is perhaps the only political party in Nevada dedicated
to the progressive agenda that is needed in our state. The Green Party
