There is hope for the citizens and the county, US of A, they constitute. 

If..  appropriate civil and personal actions are taken to dissolve the industrial/military/government complex; remove criminals from office and positions of power; eliminate the private funding of election campaigns; remove the "personalization" of corporations and institutions; eliminate the tyranny of debt and the apathy of those living on credit; revolutionize the transformation of the economic basis to a sustainable model; and.. if the Greens, or those who discover the Greens, discover the intestinal and moral fortitude to abandon personal actions which reinforce the injustices and abuses of the political paradigm of the established "order": e.g. accept the pain, and work -or fight- to sustain a future ..

Make no excuses! The nature of the battle to develop democracy, justice, health, educated and well informed citizenry able to shape a secure future must be a battle, not just a good intention. There will be discomfort, pain, possibly even direct violence and death. The forces to be overcome are deeply entrenched, fully armed, conditioned to violence, and in control of nearly all access to resources. The revolutionary battles of economy and ecology will not be engaged by will or ballot alone. The abusers' sources of power will have to be removed. The consequences of their acts, and those of ours in compliance with the "norm", will have to be mitigated; by will, and attendant suffering and pain, or by natural consequence beyond human influence or intervention.

I hope you are aware of "peak oil" and the unavoidable adjustments which will come to the dependent economies with reductions in access to energy sources.

I hope you are aware of the increasing rate of ecological and social extinctions, and the very high probability that the products and procedures of our global economy are significant contributors.

I hope you are aware of the ultimate illogic of perpetual growth and ultimate impoverishment of increasing populations.

I hope you are aware of the idiocy of war, and the absurdity of faiths that assert sole access to truth.

I hope you've read the likes of Greg Palast [www.GregPalast.com] and are aware of the highest form of criminality perpetrated by individuals to whom we've relinquished authority and delegated responsibility.
