Currently, there are six proposals being discussed and voted on in the
Green Party of the United States (GPUS) National Committee:

ID 197 - Amendment to Proposal 175 - Creation of a Delegate
Apportionment Committee - Broaden Participation

ID 198 - Amendment to Proposal 175 - Creation of a Delegate
Apportionment Comm - Change Vote Counting System

ID 199 - Co-chair Election

ID 200 - Endorsement of Letter from Coal River Mountain Watch

ID 201 - Bylaw Amendment - Steering Committee Recall

ID 202 - GPUS National Committee Approval of Forum Managers

Paul and Paul, could you both send us reports on how you all are going
to vote on these proposals and why? Thanks. I'd also like to get some
feedback from other registered Greens in Nevada on two of these
proposals because these are decisions that all registered Greens in
Nevada are likely to be affected by:

***ID 199 - Co-chair Election***
http://green.gpus.org/cgi-bin/vote/irvdetail?pid=199

There are four delegates nominated:
1. Kristen Olson, MN; 1/5/06, by James De Boer, RI; Declined 1/17/06
2. Jason Nabewaniec, NY; 1/13/06, by Greg Gerritt, RI
3. Matt Abel, MI, by Pat LaMarche, ME; Accepted 1/16/06
4. Budd Dickinson, CA; 1/16/06, by Dee Berry, MO; Accepted 1/19/06

Please read through the biographies posted at the link above and then
submit your nomination to this e-mail list for who you think should
become the Steering Committee Co-Chair of the GPUS National Committee.
Since we have no formal voting process regarding GPUS proposals, all
responses will be considered by our delegates and the delegates will
vote accordingly.

***ID 201 - Bylaw Amendment - Steering Committee Recall***
http://green.gpus.org/cgi-bin/vote/propdetail?pid=201

The discussion here is going to be centered around the specifics of
recalling a Steering Committee member. Please read through the
proposal and post your responses here so our delegates will know how to
vote on this important issue.
